  • Discuss the problems of the counsellor and the benefits of counselling skills within an organisation and at the individual level
  • Explain the distinction between counselling skills from normal HR management skills
  • Describe what makes an effective counsellor and how to use counselling skills effectively
  • Demonstrate one-to-one counselling skills appropriate to the work place and colleagues
  • Assess whether they can execute counselling responsibilities, based on improved self-perception
  • Describe how counselling skills relates to the HR management process
